Interested in volunteering for Q Christian Fellowship? We have three different areas where we currently need volunteers: Conference & Events, Content Creation, and Advisory Councils & Consulting.
Simply fill out the Volunteer Form and a Q Christian representative will be in touch with you as soon as possible. There are also great perks when you volunteer. Check them out! Read on to find out where you could best serve your community.
Conference & Events
Audio/Visual (A/V) Team
Do you love working behind the scenes? If you have volunteer or professional experience running sound, switching slides, running lights, or any additional production experience, the AV team might be right for you!
Hospitality Team
Do you love meeting new people? The Hospitality Team may be the best fit for you! Connect with first-time attendees before, during and/or after the Conference weekend to ensure first-timers feel accepted into the community.
Parent Team
Are you a parent or guardian of an LGBTQ+ child? Connect with parents of LGBTQ+ kids before, during and/or after the Conference weekend to lend a listening ear and field any parent related questions or concerns.
Registration Team
Do you love serving others? The registration team might be right for you! Check in attendees, field questions, and help create an amazing Conference experience for every participant.
Prayer Team
Do you love providing pastoral care? Pray with Conference attendees and assist those who may need basic pastoral support during the Conference weekend. Prayer Team members will connect attendees with the Mental Health Team or on-call therapist when needed.
Production Team
Main stage assistance with coordinating speakers, announcements and worship team.
Worship Team
Have a passion for leading others in worship through music? Are you an instrumentalist or a vocalist comfortable in team settings in front of crowds? Sign up to express interest, and if we have openings, our worship leaders be in touch!
Choir Team
Got a great voice? Join the choir and sing with other Conference attendees during our Sunday Service!
Mental Health Team
Are you a licensed mental health professional or counselor? You can help Conference attendees experience safety and care.
Content Contributors
Write Devotionals & Blog Posts
Are you interested in writing about topics at the intersection of faith and sexuality? Consider adding your voice to Q Christian Felowship’s long list of resources! We are especially interested in hearing from those who are POC, trans, non-binary or gender non-conforming. Please submit a writing sample when you submit your volunteer form.
Video Content Creation
Do you like to make social media videos? Help us create videos that capture the mission and vision of Q Christian. Please submit a sample of video content you have created when you submit your volunteer form.
Advisory Councils & Consultants
Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion Advisory Council
We are looking for EDI thought leaders who can help us ensure that all QCF communications, content, and programming fully represent the diversity of the LGBTQ+ Christian community. The council will meet quarterly as well as ad hoc meetings or email requests/surveys, as needed, throughout the year to consult with the QCF team to assess new programmatic offerings.
Parent & Family Advisory Council
The Parent & Family Advisory Council will help guide our vision for parent and family engagement at QCF, ensuring that our programs reflect the needs, hopes, and stories of our community. The Council will meet quarterly, with additional opportunities to develop exciting new programs for parents and families.
