Advent Reflections
Join us this Advent season as we journey together through the Vanderbilt Common Lectionary readings for Year A. Each week, we’ll explore the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love through Scripture, conversation, and reflection. Using the weekly readings and discussion guide, we’ll make space to listen, share, and grow as we prepare our hearts for Christmas. This group is open to anyone who wants to connect with others, engage with Scripture, and experience the beauty of Advent in community.

Deconstructing Advent
If you’re walking through a season of faith deconstruction, you’re not alone. This Advent group uses the same Vanderbilt Common Lectionary readings and discussion guide as our other Advent groups, but with intentional space to process, question, and rediscover. Together, we’ll hold the tension between tradition and transformation—engaging Scripture through a lens of healing, honesty, and curiosity. There’s no need to have the “right” answers; just bring your full, authentic self as we wonder and wait together.
