Development Manager

Part-Time

Q Christian Fellowship is hiring! We are looking for a candidate to work remotely, 20-25 hours per week, with some travel required.

Duties:

  • Build/maintain positive relationships with community members and assess the needs of the community

  • Develop and implement overall development strategy to include:

    • specific plans to move high-value prospects to deeper engagement and support of Q Christian 

    • non-donor engagement and support

    • donor stewardship and cultivation

  • Execute fundraising efforts and assign supportive fundraising tasks to other staff and board members; actively manage those tasks to completion

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of specific event marketing and fundraising campaigns to determine which ones work best and what changes to make; execute recommended changes

  • Attend events hosted by Q Christian, which can include conference, summits and regional gatherings, and speak with guests about the advantages of the organization

  • Assess budgets every quarter to determine the fundraising needs and goals

  • Support day-to-day operations by organizing and implementing supportive administrative tasks.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications: Education and/or experience related to fundraising, journalism, public relations, grant writing or similar area. Practical experience using Kindful, Raiser’s Edge, Tito, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Asana and/or comparable software required. Friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality–you can talk to anyone! Attention to detail and a sense of humor are also desired.

Compensation: Target range of $30-50K, depending on experience and desired hours.
