Disability Pride Month | Monday Invocation
July is Disability Pride Month—a time to recognize the history, achievements, experiences, and struggles of people with various physical, emotional, and psychological abilities. Disability Pride Month affirms that disability is a natural part of human diversity, not a deficit or condition that requires fixing.
This month, we encourage our friends who live with a disability to celebrate your embodiment as people made in God’s image. We also encourage those who are able-bodied to learn more about those who live with a disability and the disability community’s fight for justice—especially in faith spaces.
Below, you’ll find resources from QCF staff and community members. These stories and discussions explore intersectionality, share lived experiences, and offer practical ways we can better care for one another:

Happy Disability Pride Month, friends! Let’s continue building a community where every body is embraced.
