Refuge & Resurrection Groups
This summer, we are offering two process groups: Coming Out (Mental Wellness) and Religious Trauma (Mental Wellness). Groups will begin the week of June 24. Sign ups are now closed.
Mental Wellness R&R groups are led by licensed therapists with expertise in LGBTQ+ mental health; Pastoral Care R&R groups are led by ordained ministers or seminary trained QCF staff with expertise in LGBTQ+ ministry. Groups will meet for 8 weeks, and each group meeting will last 90 minutes.
Estimated Cost: $15-45 per group meeting ($120-360 total for 8 sessions) with a Sliding Scale based on need; full scholarships may be available depending on funding.
Please note that completing this form does not guarantee your registration. It is a preliminary interest form. After you submit this form, someone will be in touch with you regarding setting up an initial conversation regarding joining the R&R Group.
This season, R&R Groups are funded by The Oasis: The LGBT Ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark and the Carpenter Foundation.

After confronting devastating questions of sexuality and gender with parents who pastored a conservative church, Isaac quickly realized there were very few resources for his family. He also learned that there were very few safe places where he could learn about his true identity without judgment or predetermined agendas. Over 10 years later, Isaac has grown the iAmClinic team to 10+ therapists and launched a sister company, iAmCouncil, to provide life and relationship coaching to individuals nationwide! In my own journey through life, therapy has had a profound positive impact on my confidence, happiness, energy, and sense of peace. My own healing has led me towards becoming a therapist to help heal our hurting world, one person at a time. It is my hope that we can work together to help you find love and acceptance for all of yourself and the peaceful confidence that comes with it.
