About the Presenter:

Beth (she/her) has been with Thrivent since 2018 and joined Roots Financial Group in 2022. Prior to Thrivent, she spent 15 years working as a donor advisor for a variety of regional, national, and international non-profit organizations. Her extensive background in charitable gift planning made her transition to financial services a natural one. 

Beth has earned the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation and enjoys working with Small Business Owners who are on the journey to discover their next adventure. She is also an Affirming Advisor (AA) and prioritizes addressing the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and allies, both professionally and personally.

Beth has a long history of giving back with her time and as a donor to a variety causes. Currently, she is a Member of the Board of Directors for YWCA of Carlisle and Cumberland County and serves on the Fund Development Committee. She has been a member of the Keystone Business Alliance, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce in Central PA, since becoming a financial advisor.

Beth actively volunteers, speaks, and provides sponsorship to LGBTQ+ organizations, like the Keystone Conference, an annual event hosted by TransCentralPA, where she is also a member. Currently, Beth is a Captain for Silent Witness Peacekeepers Alliance, a group of volunteers dedicated to providing a non-confrontational buffer during local LGBTQ+ events.
