Deconstructing Lent

This 6-week community group offers a spacious, supportive environment to engage the season of Lent through the lens of faith deconstruction and renewal, using a discussion guide based on the Vanderbilt Lectionary (Year A). Together, we will explore the weekly texts that guide us toward Easter, making room for questioning, unlearning, and honest reflection about the faith we’ve inherited and the faith we are reshaping. Rooted in curiosity, compassion, and respect for lived experience, this group invites participants to engage scripture at their own pace as we consider what needs to be released, reclaimed, or reimagined during this season of reflection and transformation.

God is building a home. They are using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what They are building. God used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now God is using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together.

Ephesians 2:20-21
