Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Council
The EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Advisory Council will help us ensure that all QCF communications, content, and programming fully represent the diversity of the LGBTQ+ Christian community. Whether you are an LGBTQ+ individual, a family member, or an ally, your expertise is welcome! If you’re passionate about diversity, intersectionality, and building spaces of belonging, we would love to have you join us. Let’s make our community better together.
QCF Development Advisory Council Expectations
As a member of the Development Advisory Council, we would ask for you to honor the following commitments as we work together to raise funds for the QCF mission:
Purpose & Vision
Serve as a thought partner and community voice in making sure our content and programming align with our mission, vision, and values.
Help ensure our communications are inclusive, meaningful, and effective for diverse audiences.
Participation Expectations
Attend quarterly 90-minute virtual Council meetings to review updates, offer input, and collaborate on ideas.
Provide asynchronous feedback on upcoming communications and content. (1-5 hours a month)
Support communication by helping share resources and opportunities within your networks when appropriate.
Volunteer Involvement
Review applications for presentations at QCF Events
Review documents containing future QCF content, resources, and communications
Volunteer expectations will be coordinated collaboratively. We want to honor and utilize your skills and gifts!
Collaboration & Conduct
Engage in council conversations with respect, active listening, and curiosity, especially across different lived experiences and identities.
Adhere to all QCF Community Guidelines during our time together.
Uphold QCF’s commitment to our Values.
Communicate openly about your capacity and availability—this is a volunteer commitment, and we want it to feel life-giving, not overwhelming.
Optional Opportunities
Represent the Council at QCF events or in promotional efforts (if comfortable and desired).
