The Long Game: LGBTQ+ Reform in the Christian Church | Monday Invocation

“When it comes to common ground, unity, and discourse it starts with realizing we’re talking to human beings who have connected a sense of belonging to some kind of ideological structure. And that’s a painful thing to leave.”

Today, we join LGBTQ+ and allied pastors in a Conference recording from January titled The Long Game: LGBTQ+ Reform in the Christian Church, as presented by the Making Things Right team!

In this recording, a panel of thought leaders explores the challenges, opportunities, and advancements in the church, with a focus on driving change in spaces that are not yet affirming. The goal is to invite Christians and church leaders to rethink our response and responsibility to LGBTQ+ people. Especially in this time of extreme polarization.

This is a session where you will walk away with resources to help you not only connect with non-affirming people in your local sphere (if that is something that you desire), but also give you some things to think about as we move forward in community.
