From Pretty Words to Shared Practices | Monday Invocation
“It's important to recognize that modeling radical belonging is not always an easy task. We're constantly offered an option to be comfortable. What if, instead of modeling comfort, we modeled belonging?”

What does our Community Ethos look like when it’s lived out at Q Christian Fellowship?
Last week, we shared a clip from Conference where members of the QCF Board and Staff discussed the OAD Report and how it led to the crafting of our new QCF Community Ethos. This week, QCF Staff walk through each value of our Community Ethos and show how these are shaping real programs and spaces in our community.
This 12-minute session is an invitation to move from “beautiful words and images” into shared practices, so that together, we can become all that we are becoming: a beloved community that models a world where all LGBTQ+ people are fully loved by family, church, and community, and Christians worldwide live up to their calling to be instruments of grace and defenders of the outcasts.
