 Support Groups

Support Groups are community-driven and focus on conversation and discussion. Groups use an outline provided by QCF to help facilitate discussions. These groups uplift the essential sense of belonging, being heard, and interpersonal connection.

Virginia Tech's Queer Christian Group

Are you a student who goes to Virginia Tech and is looking to get involved in an in-person support group? We have a group for you! Please email Elliott if you would like more information about this group.

Coming Out Post-Marriage

Q Christian Fellowship has created this Coming Out Post-Marriage/MOM Group to provide a supportive community to gather and address questions and topics specific to those who are discerning if they should come out, are in the process of coming out or have recently come out as LGBTQ+. This support group is not driven by study of texts but rather acts as a safe, conversational space with others to process the feelings and potential obstacles individuals may experience in coming out as an LGBTQ+ Christian. This group in particular is geared towards those who are currently married or discerning next steps after marriage. The Coming Out Post-Marriage/MOM group does not address the biblical passages often used to denounce LGBTQ+ identity or LGBTQ+ sexual ethics. Individuals interested in these topics on a deeper level are encouraged to join the Sexuality and Spirituality Small Group.
